Yeah but we don't know what happened while he was there. Professional counselors are way more adept at handling these things

I would agree, especially for something as alarming as this. But I don't know that it makes sense to latch on to a 2 sentence explanation and declare it inappropriate, as it may have worked.

Oh sure thing, moron, I'll do just that. I'm discussing something rationally, and because people are challenging your vast knowledge of reality TV, you're acting like a little girl.

Grow up.

i haven't seen anyone relishing it. people are calling their arse out on it and for some reason, you are defending a family which you have little knowledge of. But surely quick to judge those that are invested and judging them.

I know reading obviously reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, but nowhere in my post did I say that. I said he was sent away from the family and the child he was touching. Which is exactly what I said in my post.

Go push your agenda elsewhere, and try reading sometime. Actual reading, top to bottom, Left to right, not biased skimming where you only pick up information that fits your point.

You mentioned manual labor several times. You must think there's something to it

Evidently you have to watch the show to know about parenting and people.

"I love that he worked for the Family Research Council. It really brings the level of hypocrisy to an epic level."

Sounds like people are enjoying the hypocrisy a lot. And I'm not judging you for judging them. Although I am judging you for your little dumbass rant about how people who don't watch the show need to get out of your thread.

Dude I said "may have." I mean, he seems reasonably well balanced now. Obviously this is going to raise concerns, but I think we all hope it worked and he's not still hiding some of that conduct.

you are judging me for acting like we're relishing in this but we are the ones who are invested in the show and feel betrayed more so than you. Its a very logical and rational response to your calling out.

Also, not sure what is hypocritical about the situation, but admittedly I don't know much about the family. I know the son is opposed to same sex marriage and worked for FRC, but that alone doesn't make him some giant hypocrite or something. If he's on the record talking about how gay families molest kids and are evil, then obviously the hypocritical label is pretty appropriate.

Many note the Duggars prominent role in opposing equal treatment for gay people, particularly in their financial and political role in defeating a Fayetteville civil rights ordinance. Josh Duggar's mother, Michelle, made robocalls in support of repeal. That message said, in part:

“Males with past child predator convictions [could] claim they are female to have a legal right to enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls. I doubt that Fayetteville parents would stand for a law that would endanger their daughters or allow them to be traumatized by a man joining them in their private space. …. “Parents, who do you want undressing next to your daughter at the public swimming pool’s private changing area?” ”

Josh Duggar was accused of molesting multiple young girls while they slept in the family's home. The family said he received "counseling" as a result and had apologized to the girls. A police investigation begun after the tip from Oprah was concluded without charges because of statute of limitations.

Duggar, who'd become a national lobbyist for the Family Research Council, a right-wing group that has led anti-gay causes, resigned that job after the controversy exploded yesterday. The Duggars took steps to get the police report about the matter destroyed, but only after it had been widely disseminated.

Ok, so you know you're wrong, didn't read the linked article, have been using incorrect hypothetical information to make your point, and have an agenda, so you're resorting to criticizing hypothetical meaning of my words.

No what I mean is, what was the timeline of the being sent away relative to when all these incidents happened?

Maybe I misunderstood you. I didn't think you appreciated these people and the show. I took your prior posts as you having been forced to watch it, like I'm "forced" to be invested in the Bachelorette.

well i was forced a little bit. I really never did overly care for the show, but i still invested my time to watch their phony and have the right to voice my opinions on this matter as a consumer of the show.

What's my agenda? Please point out where I have criticized their religion, etc? I'll wait.

Ok, I was wrong about the age, big deal. What he did was still wrong, the way it was handled from the outset was wrong, and Jim's action of waiting a year means he more than likely allowed this to continue happening.

There is a new show on TLC like Duggars.

LINK

There is also a show on tracing family roots and when celebs found out they were tied to slavery they won't let them air it.

Because of what 1/19 kids did wrong, the whole thing is a sham? I'd say only .05% of your kids being fricked up mentally at 14 in that environment is pretty damn miraculous actually
