I remember the school shooting that happened there. Little shits hid in the bushes, while some other kid pulled the fire alarm, waited for the students to move outside and then they started shooting.

Would the Louisiana equivalent be Lake Charles, Alexandria, another city? Arkansas State is a pretty big college per google (compared to non-LSU public schools in LA)

None, really. Closer to Shreveport IMO. There's a lot more stuff to do in LC and Laffy. It's not nearly as bad as Alexandria.

I can’t think of a worse time to be in Jonesboro than straight out of college. Seriously, where is a 22 year old going to get drunk and find some tail? It seems like it’d be much better if you were 30 with a wife and just make a pilgrimage for booze every few weeks. A single guy in his early 20s will want to kill himself living there.
