I haven't listened to them in a few years but I got some good laughs from them.
I haven't listened a lot in the past few years but I started listening to them in HS in the early 90s.

Wow. Been listening since the early 90's. I was holding onto the hope that they said he was coming back.

Johsnon was/is all three. Kenneth, O(Eaux), Billy Ed.
Very talented how he could make them all three have a conversation. In their heyday, Johnson used his real voice until like 6am. Then them three fools would 'get to the studio'.

My bad. Sad he died but he was a hack. Johnson had all the talent.

thanks, they were hilarious back in the mid-nineties, I moved out of their market coverage, probably at their peak, and have only heard them on occasion since then

I've been listening every morning for the past 3 years. He will be missed. Thanks for all of the laughs. RIP.

Damn...that sucks. I listened to them all the time back in 07-09. Once Obama actually won it got too much for me, but they certainly had a great run.

That’s a bummer. They were pretty good and starting to get better after the low point during the Obama years.

Back in the day he had more voices but they went away for whatever reason.

that was some talent, what about Kraven Mohead?

Billy Ed out to do a spinoff. He was the talent, Walton was the straight man who only did impersonations of presidents, and wasn't very good. Bring in his wife Praline as his sidekick.

I understand how you could think this, but it's not true. I remember when they split up in the 90's for a bit and they were horrendous on their own.
Johnson needed him as a straight man and to set it all up. Without him, I don't understand how they'll continue.

Well that frickin sucks

man... RIP Walton
as I sit here listening to the "previously enjoyed segments" that's now on the radio for this morning's show
a lot of the reason I still listen is b/c... well... I just got used to having them on in the morning whether good or bad... but they have been a staple for decades
wonder if the Houston flagship will just move Kenny with Johnson full time now and keep the show going... Kenny's been a respectable fill-in since Walton fell ill
but again... RIP John Walton

Yea I think most people will acknowledge the 'decline', or shift, from entertaining morning show to tired political talk show came circa 2008 with Obama.
But there's no denying their accolades during the peak of syndication.

that's what old people do.
I would counter that based on the derangement of the Left, based on the violence of Antifa/SJWs, and the push to socialism, and away from free speech... those old guys were ahead of their time to criticize what they observed the last 10-12 years.
