I’m glad to hear that kids can still keep it real and PC culture hasn’t completely taken over

A lot of the silicon valley bigwigs send their kids to a private school that doesn't have any technology at all.

Take a look at St. Genevieve. It is strict as well but not to the point of the idiocy posted about Pius in this thread. The academics are very good as well. My kids complained so much about how hard it was and how they were in Alcatraz. Fast forward a few years and they did outstanding at Teurlings, the other in the LHS Gifted program. Today they admit that St. Gen prepared them and were actually glad we sent them there.

We have 1 child that currently goes to St. Pius, but she dreads going every morning. Hoping to find a school that fits her.

Unless your daughter finds Pius to be too liberal, she won't like JPG.

Last year JPG hired a new head of school who came from a small right wing religious school in Texas. He immediately ran off several key academic faculty who were really good. The new focus (as of last year) was to get into training culture warriors, not really in promoting high academics. There are a couple of good faculty left who are very young, but for the most part the quality of the education has gone down, as has the tolerance for any kind of uniqueness in children.

I still support the mission of the institution as an independent Catholic school. The institution needs to weather this current phase to hopefully get back on track in the future. I still donate and just got tickets to the cook off, but as an educational institution I can't recommend it if you child has any academic upside beyond going to SLCC or UL after JPG.

we need to. One of the physicians I work with sends his kids there. He has nothing but great things to say.

Dude, we are talking about schools here. I have a lot of personal experience with this particular school and know several current and past faculty and students, and sent one of my kids there for a while, and I donate to the school. So if you don't have anything to discuss about the school, buzz off.

Couple things concern me...the lack of technology integration in the classes and courses, and the ultimate career choices of their alumni (no physicians, engineers, etc).

You want your kid to have a techcentric curriculum send him to Logan Paul the Great. Best social media/influencer school in the country.
