So, you're ok with raising the voting age to 21?
Actually I am.
The brain isn't fully developed until we are in our mid 20s. 18 year olds make a lot of irrational decisions. I think they should have to live in the real world for a few years before making life decisions.
Did you care about politics when you were 18? My dad hassled me to go register to vote when I turned 18. When the first election I was able to vote in came around he told me he didn't care who I wanted to vote for he just wanted me to go vote. So I went in the booth and just selected the last name for each position. I might have been in my late 20s before I started to even half arse care.

We should all take advice from 23 year olds
So you don't want to hear what a 23 year old has to say, but you have no problem with an 18 year old being able to go into a gun store and buy an AR15?
You are fricking brilliant.

one is an volunteered opinion; one is a given right.

What about military service?
What about drinking? What about tobacco products? What about driving?

21 year olds make a lot of irrational decisions too. Let's raise that voting age.

Actually, yes I did.

So essentially exactly the same thing you did the last go around?

If you aren't a liberal by 20 you have no heart, If you aren't a conservative by 35 you have no brain...

I don't think he realizes how ignorant he makes himself look by saying things like "those crazy guns" & "I'm anti-animal in cage".
I bet if you were being interviewed you would have handled it perfect. You would have been able to read the room and would have perfectly worded everything.
Would you be willing to let me interview you, throw some random questions at you then post the interview on this board?

The military is a job so yes, they have to start gaining life experience.
There are jobs that are more deadly than being in the military so I don't get that whole "well they are old enough to serve in the military". Yeah, they will go into the military and learn how to be a more responsible person. In theory.

Drew Brees lost a lot of fans once he involved politics. I'm still a fan of Joe, but I wish he would keep opinions like this (& about Mike the Tiger's cage) to himself so he doesn't lose fans.
I wish you would keep your opinions to yourself.. No one gives a frick what you think.

Chris, why is this soo upsetting to you?
it doesn’t have to be a binary stance on what Joe said. People can still love Joe for what he did for LSU and not appreciate his political comments.
that’s reality in 2022. All of Hollywood is crazy AF, people still attend movies. Yet, you should accept when people criticize their dumb political virtue signaling

I think professional athletes should have a stock answer for politically charged questions that are likely to arise such as “ As a professional athlete and member of this organization my focus is entirely on winning championships on the field and putting butts in the seats. Please limit your questions to these topics“

So they are old enough to sign up and carry an M4 overseas, but not old enough to own one back in the States. You’re an imbecile

Im not upset at all. Seriously, I can see how my post comes off that way, but its more about me just wanting to say my side of things and having to get the last word in and calling someone on hypocrisy. Like the person who was saying something about him only being 23 as if its too young to give an opinion, but 18 is old enough to buy an AR15.

And I have an opinion about Joe that people will probably disagree with more than anything else. Joe is obviously a good QB, but Jamar Chase plays a bigger role in the duo.
People can go back and look at them at LSU. Between Chase's speed, his ability to make catches that many WRs wouldn't be able to make and his willingness to block (which played a huge fact because his blocking resulting it a number of TDs) he opened up that offense. Its the reason players like Thad Moss would be wide open.
Another example. Joe without Chase in his first year in the NFL vs Joe with Chase his second year.. But I know this should be on the rant more than it should be on here.
