I worked at a grocery store from 15-18. Saved up $1800 to buy my first car at 16. After i bought the car ( standard shift ) i was able to get my drivers license.

1. Buy bags of M&Ms in bulk from Costco.
2. Sell individual bags door to door for your "church"
3. ???
4. Profit.

On a serious note, given the few weeks of availability he'll have, he should pack up a few things in a bucket and go door to door offering to wash the vehicles of people in the area.

18? Nah, most restaurants will hire him if he works nights and weekends. They always need people.

Be persistent, but not annoying. Most these places get flooded with apps from students in the summer.

If you are in br, I know some people that manage restaurants. But kid has to work, not be a lil shite on his phone.

Drive him to every food service business in the area asking if they hire. Make a detailed map beforehand and post it for our input. I hear Baskin and Robbins has an opening. My friend's nephew Randall worked there for a while and made tons of friends and gained valuable life experience.

Don't do it for him

I can't stand a parent doing all the work for their kids getting a job.

99% of the time, the kid is useless

I hire energetic teenagers not energetic parents

pretty much everyone I know got the high school and college jobs through their parents. That's just how it works, unless you want to work at a grocery store or in fast food.
