It is amazing the incredible real estate and business investment opportunities that are presented to political officials and their associates. And their wives and cousins and uncles and pals who have ad agencies, insurance agencies, PR firms, real estate firms, etc. do quite well.

Only complete Jefferson-type dumbasses take cash directly and get sent to prison. There are plenty of lawful ways they can and do cash in with just a little thought.

Bobby could have done it the honest way. No house note or rent for 8 years helped.

I wasn't talking about Jindal. My post was directed at the poster who claimed it was easy to have a million dollar home making less than $130K a year. I realize it's possible but not easy. The insurance and property taxes alone would be 10K a year at a minimum.

My point was - he married well

But honestly if somebody can't afford a house like that by the time your jindals age - you have to re evaluate your life.

no, bitch.... your point was TRYING to be that you an OT Balla.... but you got called out on it, seeing as how fricking ridiculous the premise of someone making 130K would live in an 817+K house...

it would be utterly stupid, unless you really love the taste of ramen noodles and love the modern concept of "bare wall as art"....

Um, I was referring to the OT baller that easily handles an 800k house on a 130k salary.

I'm far from an ot balla, big daddy rabbit.

Again, My point was that he married well. She was making at least double what he was making until she stopped working.

On top of that it's pretty easy to qualify for that type of loan on 130k a year. Not a big deal at all (as the poster claimed that I was originally responding to).

apparently not....

being your original post, seen above, had NOTHING about Jindal's wife or the amount she made, you might as well just admit you were full of shite... or you are butt frickingly insane....

That was exactly my point when the guys claimed there was no way someone could afford a house like that on his salary .. He married well .. Sorry I have to spell everything out to you Jabronies.

Having said that, if someone can't afford a place like that - by say age 40 - you suck at life .. It's really not that big of deal ..

So if I'm 40 and live in a $500,000 home I suck at life?

Yes that was my post .. I make a lot less than jindal ...I was just trying to let the poster who seemed that it was impossible know it's not that hard to do.

i pray that you understand "qualifying" for and actually being able to afford the cost of living associated with the price of the house is two totally different things...

so, to make it clear, to everyone here.... you are claiming you make way less than Jindal, and you currently live in a house north of 817K... again, you gonna stick with this?

ETA... still waiting for an answer....

He made $130K/yr as governor and $174K/yr as a congressman. Supriya is the head of the non-profit Jindal Foundation, which can't pay THAT much. How much was she pulling down as a ChemE at Abermarle? Surely it wasn't $350k+.

All of this to say, if your mortgage is supposed to be no more than 2.5x your annual salary, how did Jindal get the scratch, legitimately, for an $817,000 house? Hell, he'd have to have almost a year's salary in cash just to close with a regular mortgage.

wow some of you people sure are retards huh.
