He's at his term limit FWIW. Maybe he's running for higher office. Or maybe he's just a dumbass and isn't pandering. Who knows?

What is embarrasing about al this is is started in Charleston when that man shot all those innocent people in the church. A horrible event the the democrats had to use somehow as political capital and decided to use it against the confederate flag, first taking it off the SC statehouse grounds then heading out across the country.

Maybe they should blow up Stone Mountain next.

The NAACP tried to get that to happen in 2015 after the Charleston shooting but failed.

Let's be at least a little honest with ourselves. The confederate battle flag shouldn't be flying above a statehouse. Wasting hundreds of thousands of tax dollars to remove monuments is a bit of a different ball game.

The real confederate flag is the white flag of surrender.

The first being Jean Lafitte, a true hero of New Orleans.

You know he sold slaves, right? As a pirate, he indiscriminately sold anything of value that was found on his victims' ship. He could have easily freed the slaves he captured, instead he sold them for profit. Congrats on the ignorance.

Yes.

But he also fought for New Orleans and America, unlike the confederates.

Lee cared for Virginia only.

And I've done more research into Lafitte and New Orleans' history than most.
