re: Jeep Gladiator Rubicon - Update on page 5
Well the Gladiator was sold on Saturday while I was test driving a 2020 Jeep Wrangler two door pictured below. I always wanted a two door Jeep but literally everyone in my life except my 18 year old son is talking me out of it. With that said, I found what I think is a good deal on 2018 Wrangler Altitude with 55K miles pictured below. These are two Jeeps that I am considering right now.

Those wheels and tires are shite just like the Gladiator in the OP. Find a Rubicon with at least the stock wheels, they look much better than that aftermarket crap.

If they make a 4xe in the Gladiator, hold out for it. I have a Sahara 4xe and it is awesome. 375 HP in hybrid mode, it's no slouch and I get 38MPG. I basically do all my running around during the day in full electric mode.

I have a 2017 JK Sport that I really like so far, but I’ve only had it since April.

I would not buy a JK. JLs are light years better in comfort and ride quality

I love Jeeps and currently own 2 wranglers. I would NEVER however own one as a primary vehicle. You will hate going from a truck to a jeep. I drove a 4 door wrangler from Prairieville to Universal Studios in Florida and back and it sucked. They are strictly a weekend, cruising around town vehicle. Just my Dos Centavos.

I drove mine from N Tangipahoa parish to Anna Maria Island (south Tampa area) and actually enjoyed the drive. I was surprised because I thought I would hate it.

As a bonus, my 18 y/o son was able to cruise the beach in the Wrangler. He loved it. At home, he refuses to drive it.

Yeah i cant wait to catch someone slipping at a red light. Hybrid mode, 4wd auto, and no traction control. Slap it in manual shift mode and then back to auto and take off. Its a beast.

I’m holding out for the 4xe gladiator too. I just hope they are still doing the 7500 rebate when it comes out.

While I have only given each a test drive I found that the 4 door Jeep had a much better ride and I didn’t feel like I had to keep my hand on the wheel to keep it straight. The 2 door is more fun to drive just not practical.

Definitely plan to upgrade the tires and get it lifted.
