This is my point.

“Of course we (the government) won’t force you to take this shot, but if you want to do anything you used to do, you’ll need to provide proof of vaccination”.

Come the frick on. They’ll be adding it to your kids’ vax requirements for school, etc.

But no, they won’t force you to take the shot.

Why would some of this be a problem if 3-5 years from now we know its safe and effective?

We already require multiple vaccines. Are you against measles and mumps and whooping cough vaccines?

So you're saying it very likely WILL be mandatory, after xxx time?
If it is truly 95% effective and safe, yes

Why wouldnt it? Why wouldnt you want it to be?

I think the point of this doctor speaking is to appeal to North Louisiana residents for buy-in of the mitigation efforts.

Maybe because it’s not necessary

Pneumonia is the single largest cause of death in children worldwide. Every year, it kills an estimated 1.4 million children under the age of five years, accounting for 18% of all deaths of children under five years old worldwide.

Why don’t kids get pneumonia vaccine?

Why is a vaccine necessary for someone that has over 99% chance of survival?

If that’s the case then flu should be mandatory

They are seeking volunteers, locally in BR area, for testing subjects. It’s coming.

I'm not saying it should or shouldn't be. I'm saying if it's decided that it is, does it really matter to you?
