Holy shite this narrative needs to stop

Kids have needed to stay away from at risk folks this whole time
I’m 40 & I need to stay away from at risk folks

Don’t give me the line about kids getting it from other kids & grandma lives with them
You can’t tell me that those kids have stayed locked in their rooms this whole time
& their parents haven’t went to work or the grocery store or visited with anyone from out of their household

I can actually see the rationale in staying in phase 2 until Labor Day. It would be very frustrating to move to phase 3, have the inevitable Labor Day bump and then move back down when people panic.

JBE had on an oral surgeon to talk about this shite. Consequences of electing idiots.

He was an MD too, don’t remember in what what his Deputy of Comms tweeted about it & was very pissy about people calling him a dentist & spreading misinformation

Further proof Jayce is still lurking

If we staying in phase 2 why the frick is he having a presser? He don’t need to have a presser to tell us we staying where we at.

I've been doing this. Although there are usually only 2-3 people here at a time. Most of my employees work in the field.

We can't fully understand how disgusted he is with us peasants through a memo.

Mainly because proclamation ends this week
I think he will go back to once a week soon & we will ignore him until the next proclamation ends

This is slightly different than stuffing hundreds of students and staff in schools. It’s not like a kid is going to hangout with 10-15 friends like they may have been doing during the summer. You can reopen schools and try to mitigate risks (which they are) but it’s just like reopening businesses back in May, when you put people out there and have them interact there is going to be a surge. So I don’t find it unreasonable what the doctors are predicting. It seems that they disagree with your hopeful narrative so it’s upsetting. Trust me, I’m tired of the pandemic too and I don’t want another surge either. But to say what the doctors are predicting, and why they are predicting it, is unreasonable is a little far fetched.

This is just how it's been. He'll run down the numbers like he always does. The phase 2 declaration ends Friday so he'll just be setting up his plan to keep us there the rest of the month. Look for 9/8 or 9/11 as your next "big" decision date.

He said LSU football would get shut down a few years back, so I think he will put us back to Phase 1 at this point.

We stay at 2 unfortunately..
.2 or 3 what does it matter. We are fricked....we are fricked even if we went to phase 4....I am not sure we can recover from the damage locally or for that matter nationwide. They will attempt to push this out to the New Year....what we see when we emerge will be all but unrecognizeable.

I would not be surprised if politicians get assaulted....soon

That’s funny the advocate had to get all the way down to a nurse to tell them what they wanted to print.

Provide me a link where Louisiana doctors are predicting Louisiana hospitals being overwhelmed because kids went back to school
*overwhelmed due to bodies in beds not staffing issues

Why is a hospital worried about being overwhelmed with school kids?

the hospital is not afraid of this, they see dollar signs....just something the msm can use to put fear into the general public.
