No, the government is playing for federal money.

That is it.

That is the only justification.

We’re now being told that we need more testing. But the exiting testing places are way under capacity.

Yeah, remember after Katrina these huge lots on the interstate with literally 100's and 1000's of unused trailer homes.

Your going to see a lot of unused equipment, beds, buildings, etc. of all sizes an types and it's going to dwarf what you saw from Katrina cause it will be in every state.

No, he knows he needs to spend $150,000,000 more tax dollars to get the FEMA payout to balance his budget.

We should have been opened now. All of the numbers show state wide that cases, hospitalizations, and ventilator use is declining. We made it through. We survived. Let’s move on

I am.

Look, with the hospital system weathering the “storm” and there being no danger to capacity, why not open it all up with recommendations for specific groups? What’s the harm with putting peoples health in their own hands? It’s at the bottom of the last page, so I’ll say it again. We let pregnant women do it. They don’t get on planes after a certain week. We let people with heart problems do it. They don’t get on rollercoasters. Tell the old and fat to stay home if they want. Keep wearing your dirty cotton masks and gloves and wipe down your groceries. The rest of can do what we should have been doing all along. Wash often and stay home when you feel sick. Why does this have to be complicated?

I pulled it up until this morning, but I cannot find it anymore. The link on LDH website seems broken.

Maybe they are updating it, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt for a few hours.

Yes the numbers are down gee I wonder why???? Maybe because of the amount of people staying at home ?????? Well it seemed to work. Now is not the time to take risks. I just wonder what the numbers in this state would look like if we had no say at home order?????? And we have zero clue what the numbers will look like once we go into phase 1.

The total number of people catching it would eventually be the exact same. Except it would have been over with MUCH sooner

But here’s the thing dukke v, if you want to stay in and not risk getting sick, you have that option. Right now, nobody has any options and that’s what people are losses off about while the governor continues to live his life and burns through more and more of my and your money

So the convention center isn’t a waste of $150,000,000?
