JBE heart goes out to the Sterling family and we should remember Alton

Our hearts go out to the Sterling family, particularly Alton’s children, and to the entire Baton Rouge community. Once again, we have all been forced to relive that painful day. As I have said before, the video is disturbing. This process has been long, but now is the time for us to continue to come together and to heal as a state and community. I pray every day that Louisiana can work to strengthen the bonds that unite us, rather than focus on the things that divide us. While it may be difficult at times, it is the best way we can remember Alton and honor the brave men we lost in the summer of 2016: Brad Garafola, Matthew Gerald, and Montrell Jackson. ‘Don’t let hate infect your heart.’ Those were the words of Officer Jackson in 2016 and they still ring true today. In spite of all the black peoples of Bat un Reeeerge threads, I’ve forgotten all about that baw.
I know there were some CD’s, an 8 piece for $4.99, a struggle for muh sauce, and muh gat. Then he was poppin off and got his wig split. Baw like to get dealt wit.

That's the nicest politically correct statement I've read in quite a while....

Absolutely blows my mind that our elected officials are leading the charge to excuse this guys illegal behavior, ignore that he was a multi felon pedophile trying to shoot two police officers and that they are going to give the family millions of my tax dollars. The family that the dead turd never did anything for while alive. The family literally hit the ghetto lottery.

Does he deserve to be remembered? What did he do for society? How was he making a difference?
21 Firefighters have lost their lives in the line of duty this year. I’ll choose to remember them instead.
Great post though, up until the remembering some joe blow on drugs fighting with the police outside some convience store.
Honestly the only reason you know him is because the media pushed it down your throat.
Name all the officers killed in the line of duty last year.
I’ll wait....because that’s worth remembering.

The best way to honor Alton is for the rest of BRPD to “go Salamoni” on all the other drug dealing rapists in the North BR Ghetto.

Has he commented on the unsolved murder for the former McKinley High School Quarterback?
Or the other 100 plus black on black murders in Baton Rouge alone in 2017 and 2018?
He is just pandering to his black base, knowing emotionally they are "connected" to Sterling and his family, while not even realizing that the other "black lives matter" as well.

At least he recognized the fallen officers who died as a result of Alton’s actions.
Why JBE felt the need to interject himself in this now by pandering to the “community” is yet another reason I find him the slimiest POS politician we’ve seen in a long while.

The state is actually going to give the family millions of tax dollars? That's absolutely f****** ridiculous considering DOT In Houma has 6 vehicles with broken Transmissions that I fixed under contract that the state will not repair. F*** Louisiana f*** the people who support Alton Sterling and f*** anybody else's don't like this post

Agreed. JBE is whining about “revenue” but he’s glad to give millions to the family in this bullshite. Screw him.
And frick you too Placebeaux

He's just patronizing his voting bloc

Giving the family millions of your tax dollars is cheaper to them than getting voted out next election

That’s what bothers me the most. No one seems to care about some of these other senseless crimes because it’s not “news” since it’s not white on Black.
