I would love to know how he's set up and protected from that awful Tidal purchase he made.

I'm sure he's not going to personally take that big of a hit but that was the worst idea I've seen in a while.

I quit listening to the radio and watching tv as a source for music back in the 90s when all that crappy rap and hip hop shite replaced rock and metal.

I think everybody stopped doing this when MTV stopped being MTV...

Also, his music has been in plenty of TV shows, movies, commercials, internet videos, etc. I can almost guarantee that you've heard at least one of his songs, you just may not have known he sang it.

Damn. You have missed some really incredible music in the past few decades.

Maybe not with Jay-Z since he became popular before satellite radio and streaming were big, but I could see how today someone could miss ever hearing songs by someone like Jay-Z. If you have Sirius and only stream shows, then there is a good chance you miss what is new in music. I've found myself not knowing much at all about new popular music because I listen to the same few stations on satellite radio and pretty much only watch streamed shows and sports on tv now. 15 years ago it would be impossible to miss someone like him, but it's not that far fetched today

’s an amazing accomplishment. Who has written anything off like that on this board? You seem to be chomping at the bit for someone to do that when it hasn’t happened. Strange mentality you have when others are bragging about the achievement and you are inviting them to be critical. Presumably so you can then be critical of them for being critical. Strange

Or shopped in a store. Or been walking down the street. Or driving in your car with the windows down.

Is this suppose to be impressive?

A couple of fratboys became billionaires from making an app that makes pictures disappear after a few seconds in a much shorter amount of time and at a much younger age.

Yeah, I know...right?

Becoming a billionaire is the new thousandaire...if you're not in the three comma club, then you just as well be living under a bridge pooping in a bucket.
