Jason Aldean Running w/out a word at Vegas shooting

So this really bothered me ever since the Vegas shooting, Aldean was performing when shots began, he realizes it at a point as he ducks and takes off sprinting mid song, never says a word to the crowd though. Most cowardly shot I've ever seen to not say a word to the people paying to see him

I'm not saying he should have taken up a position and returned fire, but he didnt even warn anyone when people were still unsure what was happening.

He probably thought someone in crowd was shooting at him. How would he know a madman is in the hotel behind and above him? He probably heard gunshots and just ran like everyone else did.

You're right, he knew it was a guy posted up in a birds nest with a plethora of weapons, not someone trying to assisinate him specifically since he's the famous guy out there. How dare him for not knowing exactly what was going on.
