I think getting a hair cut in Bangkok might have been a little better.
Nude beaches in Cyprus was boring, really sagged
Nude beach in Kenya, folks were tanned.
Do you still go tubing on the Tchfuncte river [spelling a Louisiana thingy?]

Most Thursday evenings were boring, this one was not do to tactical planning. I will bet, no one in this forum working today has the balls to prepare for a boy/girl mixed business after hour meeting plotting how to talk titties through out the evening.
Are you messing with us? As in trolling?

very real story, in 84 we really did not have DEI or HR to constrain us.
The Japanese were really great people to work with but totally routinely predictable.
Office meeting table seating was Japanese on side looking at the door and client on side looking to the window. Highest ranked person in middle, ranked out to the lowest on both sides. Again after 7 months it was time to mess with them. One day we would go in and sit at the end of the table, and they would sit at the far end. Another day we would sit on the side facing the door. another day highest ranked would sit way off center.
Business dinner, the same rules apply with the addition of the highest ranked client had to take the first bite. With that, I would intentionally get into a winded conversation with counterpart and watch the freeze put on dinner progress.
Alcoholism in Japan was far worse than US. They at every event would try to out drink us, by we weighed about 40% more, and could tolerate a bit more whisky.

March of 1984 we had been in the engineering office for 8 months and most Thursdays were expected to go to a bar with counter parts and drink with glasses that were refilled without asking. It was fun the first 2-3 months. About 6-7 Japanese/American guys would sit in a bar with a Jap hostess between each guy whose job was to keep the whisky glass filled and make small talk in a language we could not understand. Its got old. One evening I told our side we were going to talk about having a wet tee shirt contest. How do we communicate the topic. A big obstacle was the Japanese women were very flat chested. Turned out to be a fun evening.
Got to be the weirdest thread ever bro. Good job.
