Just think if they docked people in the US for every cigarette break they took?

I've always admired the Japanese for their pride and dedication and how they value their reputation. However, people should work to live not live to work.

I hate that pride. That pride has done a whole lot more damage than it has good in the world. There’s some pride I’m ok with, but for the most part, I see pride as a scapegoat for evil men to do what they want

I work with a health nut that eats 8 times a day while he's at work. So he gets 8 lunch breaks and no one says shite. He wouldn't make it in Japan

God, wouldn't it? It's not as bad as Japan here for the most part, but it's nowhere near as good as Europe.

I heard two hick lawyerstrying to trying to one up each other in how they would find something petty about a girl and fire her for that. It was pretty fricked up. “I’ll tell the bitch her handwriting is shite and fire her.” I mean, I doubt they did something like that but that they had that mindframe is disturbing.

The relationships people have with their managers is fricked. I want to please my managers and follow their instructions to accomplish my goals and my teams goals. That doesn’t mean they have some mystical power over me. It’s a mutual relationship between adults
