Damn, I was just driving a drill bit into the ground this afternoon while thinking of how lame these jokes are.

Just reward the witty ones.

"Wow, I just took a trip to the Southwest, that could have been me" etc.

Nah, I haven’t done that yet. Was working on a different project today. The house is trench treated, don’t get me wrong. I just haven’t done the slab treatment yet. I’m afraid I’m goung to hit plumbing underneath the carport next to the kitchen wall. Any idea how deep plumbing usually is?

Most jokes are driven into the ground in Germany.

They are not funny in your opinion, I think they're funny and chuckle every time I see one

It's not that the joke itself is funny.

It's funny how certain statements always get worked into every thread.

I like it, but I'm not fighting over it.

It's funny because just like you say, there can be one line in a 10 or even 20 foot section and if you're drilling only one hole....it seems to be right there...like magic. But if you know how thick your slab is, just set the stopper on the hammer drill, or pet some tape around the drill bit at the right depth. Also, were in the south... should be 6-12 inches at least for the perma frost depth at most....but just because that's the depth doesn't have a damn thing to do with the depth the actual pipes were set. I'd say you're better off making sure you barely penetrate, by digging a hole on the side of the slab and measuring prior to drilling. Odds are the slab is thicker on the edges anyways. And on top of that, you can always readjust and drill a little deeper per each hole. Might be a pain in the arse with each hole, but that's a lot better than having to cut a section out to repair pipe. Hammer drills actually work pretty fast if you have a good one, fyi.

I still do "it", with your mom, in the quad, about 350 times a year. She likes it German style, baw and I am finna hit it again, at Sonic, after a quick moose knuckle check.

You need to thank David the Gnome because your trashy thread would have killed LucasP.
