Well they say that nothing in the universe can go faster than the speed of light

That's Part of the reason physicists believe the best way to travel into the future is to travel on an object approaching the speed of light

Say it for a fourth if you like to but you're wrong. Infinity is not a number but a concept. You're trying to think of it as an actual number.

Work of Cantor demonstrating that different infinite sets can be different sizes.

Is a theory. Cannot be and will never be "proof" as you stated before jackass.

nope. there are half as many odd numbers and there are even and odd numbers put together.

What you're saying is like saying there are as many numbers between 1 & 2 as there are between -infinity and infinity. Just because they are both infinity doesn't mean that there can not be more or less infinity compared to another.

It's rarely that simple. You need to wiki deeper:

For example, there are infinitely many odd integers, infinitely many even integers, and (hence) infinitely many integers overall. However, it turns out that the number of even integers, which is the same as the number of odd integers, is also the same as the number of integers overall. This is because we arrange things such that for every integer, there is a distinct even integer: ... -2 -> -4, -1 -> -2, 0 -> 0, 1 -> 2, 2 -> 4, ...; or, more generally, n -> 2n, see picture. What we have done here is arranged the integers and the even integers into a one-to-one correspondence (or bijection), which is a function that maps between two sets such that each element of each set corresponds to a single element in the other set.

Relativistically.

No, it's impossible to travel faster than light.

It may be possible to find or create a shortcut to "outrun" light, but at this point you might as well say it's possible to hit a baseball to the moon.

You just can't admit when you are wrong can you, a-hole? You have to get personal?

I hate it when people say others "Stole this from Reddit"

Everything on this site came from somewhere. I don't go onto Reddit and I know a lot of others don't either.

So stfu.

you really took the time to copy and paste all the comments from that askreddit post?

this was a question on askreddit and people gave these answers to the question. it's not like it's something that originated elsewhere and ended up on reddit.

this is like starting a thread of copied and pasted comments from a thread on the SECrant and acting like you made them all up.

well of course there are.

but some infinite sets (the set of all even and odd numbers put together) are greater than other infinite sets (all odd numbers)

So he worked to gather a bunch of sentences he thought were cool and put them into one thread for our enjoyment and you people think you're internet tough guys for calling him out about that?

FWIW, I enjoyed the thread.

Yea, I don't get the "stole this from reddit talk".

I've been to reddit about 3 times in my life. I hope everything interesting on reddit makes it here, because I don't frequent that site.
