I’ll say this, I could never be a teacher.
Not a big fan of other people’s kids
But the fact that they act like they are the only ones who bring home work with them is laughable.

I don’t know many actual teachers who think that way, maybe some slack asses somewhere, but most consider all that time to be part and parcel of their job, no complaints.

Wifey is a teacher and she’d be the first to tell you:
- most teachers are lazy and ignorant
- the best teacher on the planet can’t reach every kid because parents suck nowadays
- the summer break isn’t worth it
- if you don’t get involved at school, the job is a cakewalk compared to 9 to 5’ers
I respect her career choice but I’m glad she understands these things and plans to put her education to a better use sooner rather than later.

Hate it when teachers complain about being underpaid. If you didn’t know what the job paid before you started, you’re too dumb to teach my kids.
