Check in here. It’s coming down pretty damn hard. No way those pumps can keep up.

New Orleans’ mayor Mitch had a damn near impossible decision to make this past year; address the issues with the pumps, that would leave potentially hundreds of thousands of people at risk.... or..... pander to race and take down some fricking statues that have been there since the civil war.

I’m glad he had to make that decision because I have no idea how I would have chosen between those two. Stunning and brave.
