Shreveport depresses me truly. I know the city's history and know its failed potential. Shreveport is a cautionary tale of wasted wealth and resources.

I’ll let you guys kick your home state, but I’ve been everywhere, every state and most cities within the states. Louisiana has a soul to it that I cannot find anywhere. A place where people can pull up chairs in a driveway and have a great night just being. If you’re looking for nice clean roadways, I can send you a list of places, but to me Louisiana is the greatest place I’ve been.

My wife from Georgia feels more at home in Louisiana than anywhere she’s lived.

Enjoy your liberal paradise! Just remember Missouri was ground zero for BLM antifa and the shift in college safe spaces, they were the leaders :) If you are white just remember to check your privilege's.

I take it you've never been to SW MO

I moved away many years back and there aren't a lot of things that I miss. Louisiana folks and LSU game days / tailgates are two of them. There's good places for LSU and Saints fans to gather here in Vegas but it's not the same.

She told me a few months ago that she'd be fine with leaving now asap so we started putting some things in motion but it might be a bit of a process.

Sounds more like leaving Alabama.
