That's a drop in the bucket compared to what the divorce will cost you.

Or you might not get divorced if you call the coin flip correctly.

Strokin'
Harlem Shuffle
Footloose
Matlida
Cha Cha Slide

Cupid Shuffle
You Don't Have to Call Me Darlin' (The Perfect Country and Western Song)
Thats a pretty damn good list. Only one that hasn't been at the weddings I've been to is the last one.

I'm pretty sure I've heard almost every one of those at a Louisiana wedding.

When I was a little kid I always hoped they would play...

Keep Louisiana unique. You guys making fun of other parishes need to travel more. I've been everywhere, and lived in DC, Atlanta, and Dallas - Louisiana's unique culture is special. None of us listen to Freeze on iPods or at home, but at a wedding, we still love it and we get out there and do the dance.

I was at a wedding in Virginia where 80-90% of the people never touched the dance floor. Not even once. In Louisiana, we don't allow that. Weddings here are all about fun.

The weddings I've been to in West Virginia and Kentucky didn't even have dance floors.

I DJ and yeah, dj's at a wedding suck. most Thibodaux/Lafourche/Terrebonne area is swamp pop music which makes you want to dance/jitterbug with a partner. Getting to be a lost art. Nothing kills a wedding like hip-hop. Maybe the last hour once grandma, grandpa and such have left. Brides Daddy who's paying for the music don't want relatives listening to that.

Fat Bitches love the freeze

Line dances were created by and for fat women. Next time you hear the first notes of the Freeze play, whip your head around and take a look at all the overflowing cake plates being dropped on tables as the obese stampede plows its way to the dance floor.

And it might be the worst song ever composed.

This is the only part of your post I disagree with. The part where it speeds up and all of the mammoths struggle to keep up is often one of the best moments of any South Louisiana wedding reception.
