This is what happens when an uneducated group of people are stirred up by the media and believe everything they hear that goes along with the narrative that police hate black people and want to murder them. It's what they've been engrained with and taught since birth.

he ran from the cops, was caught, and then he was arrested. an hour later, he was comatose in the hospital.
the cops beat this guy to a pulp after they already had him cuffed.

Again, how do you know this. You seem to have skipped a step in the known events that took place and just assumed you know what happened there

I should have expounded on that. He was beaten to death while in custody in a transport. I think that should stand on its own. If they are found guilty they should fry. Did they kill him because he was black? IMO that does not add on more killing of them if they are found guilty of murder.
