It’s ashamed that medicine is playing the political game

What I mean by this is the panel recommends Treatment Guidelines for COVID 19 is made up of about 9 or more panelists who have a direct financial interest in Gilead. Gilead is the company who makes remdisivir. No wonder so many people are promoting a “experimental” drug that cost $3,000. If I was being paid to promote a drug then I see the incentive.
Here is a direct link to the panelist financial disclosure:

No wonder everyone is so against hydroxychloriquine a $10 generic, safe drug that has been around for 60 plus years. Have many friends and friends family who have used it with success for Covid. But the political bias of the medical profession will tell you otherwise.

Friend,
How do you explain away the fact that the vast majority of those on the panel for Covid treatment guidelines do not have any connection to the drug manufacturer? Eight, not "9 (sic) or more," as you claim, of the 53 panel members do have conflicting relationships, but that is a mere 15% of the panel.
There is a good argument that the very people who are most familiar with the anti-viral drug, Remdesivir, i.e., the people who developed the drug and have been involved in its studies, should have a seat at the table. Their presence is beneficial, in my view, so long as their representation remains a small minority.

But I thought medical professionals were supposed to be heroes?

The bottom line is that 9 or more on that panel have a financial interest and have a voice. Plus you remember the fraudulent studies that were retracted and put out by Lancet and New England Journal of medicine on hydroxychloriquine? It had a note in the top right of the studies. Gilead Pharmaceuticals.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out.

No one is accusing you of being a rocket scientist.

I agree and they are. But you have greedy ones just like everyone else. They are going to promote what pads their pockets.

Oh you are right. Facts are facts.
It’s no secret that Lancet, New England Journals etc are all exploited by Big Pharma.

It's a shame that you aren't ashamed of that subject.
Shame on you.
Shame on you.

Friends,
Many of the regulars of the OT are on to the posters who play to people's fears and try to undermine the institutions and traditions of America. There are more and more of you appearing, and I can only surmise that you are Chinese state operatives, whose fluency in our culture and grammar is not quite to the point of credibility, trying to sow discord in America. I see you.

Only nurses, on Reddit

Yeah that sounds ridiculous. Sorry I didn’t create the NIH financial disclosure that I found and neither did some Chinese operative like your theory states. It’s called google. If you want to turn a blind eye of doctors all over who are treating covid patients successfully with hydroxychloriquine then so be it. Good luck with the “experimental” remdisivir.

The best illustration of your point is the "The pharmacist".
Took a look at how greed turns doctors and pharma into nothing but drug dealers chasing money.

You are right. Those Big Pharma kickbacks must be nice
Posted on 7/26/20 at 10:14 am to dotcomer77
If Trump would have never mentioned this drug we wouldn’t be in the situation. It’s unfortunate

I hate your style so much.

So how much are those Big Pharma checks?
My uncle who is in Dallas and had Covid with severe symptoms went to Dr. Ivette Lozano. Got treated with hydroxychloriquine amongst other things. Better in 48 hours. You call this coincidence? Or maybe same outcomes with the others hundreds of patients she treated?
