The other posters have covered most of the main points I would bring up: the past is a shithole, it would've been a sausage fest, primitive tech, etc...

I just want to add, if you actually do find a woman and she's DTF, her lawn grooming probably wouldn't compare well to that which we're all accustomed.

Also, food and drink would suck. Without refrigeration a lot of the stuff we enjoy and take for granted just wouldn't exist. Do you like wine? I hope so, because ice cold beer wouldn't be readily available in the BC's in the Mediterranean.

I think the fall of Athens was a book that spoke a fair amount about it and some history podcasts.

Especially by like 400 BC, the Athenian rowers has become mercenaries. They started leaving Delian League fleets to row for Spartan fleets and there were bidding wars for rowers.
