Private school doesn't really factor into the assertion that there is no reason why a woman who works can't have this easily resolved.

My wife loves to tell me how much she saved.
She goes to Kohls and will come home and tell me she saved $147.58 or whatever.
I ask her to give it to me in cash. She laughs.

Financially? I absolutely do. She also cooks 90% of the meals and does about 70% of the housework. Half of our bills would probably leave her with nothing left to be honest.

Haha... just trying to get my man to grasp the realties of the seeds he's now sowing. I only wish someone would have grabbed me by the throat and beat this into my head with a lead pipe until I truly understood. And the reality is there's a 50/50 or better chance every man here will eventually learn this the hard way. There are ways to prepare but another topic altogether.
