Jan of 2022 hunga tonga an underwater volcano 490ft deep erupted adding an extra 10% water vapor to the atmosphere.

It's expected that temps will be higher than normal for up to 4 years. Water vapor is a much more effective greenhouse gas than co2.

It hasn't necessarily been hotter in Central Alabama temp wise but it's damn sure been more humid.

It has been a humid summer I always hate July and August. To me there's no weather better than a cool crisp morning in the fall. I'm ready to be ranching all day in a hoodie.

Guys, the earth is at one of the scientifically coolest periods in history according to Climate.gov, but it also happens to be heating rapidly. Humans aren't the cause, but also are incapable of processing what is going on or are trying to profit off it.

It has usually been way hotter, but recorded climate is short.

Friend,

What is the source of your numbers? I only looked up the ones you posted for New Orleans, and your numbers were considerably different from the official reading at MSY in New Orleans.

July 25, 2004's official high in New Orleans was 94. You typed that it was 105.

June 24, 2009's official high in New Orleans was 101. You typed 104.

Yours,

Ppl are just older, fatter, and lazier. Peak summer is always hot as frick and I’ve lived in the Midwest , south, and both coasts. Also been in shithole miserable countries during the summer. And yes, it kicks my arse bad and has been this summer. Before long I’ll be bitching about how cold it is.

Friend,

A study on a government site hosted by NOAA, peer reviewed by scientists from the Smithsonian Institute says the last 50 Million years are an anomaly. Earth has usually been way hotter.

Yes it is hotter than I remember growing up and is heating fast back to the norm. This isn't likely, or even reasonably, human caused or human preventable based on the long view science.

What is the point of your post referencing 50 years of data?

It’s been hot in Shreveport but nothing like 2011 when there were 63 days above 100 and 18 days at or above 105. It was 109 twice and 108 for four days.

That chart with consecutive days over 100 in San Antonio sure does show a certain trend of it getting hotter recently in the last decade wouldn't you say? But according to the OT there is no Global warming because it's all a government conspiracy to take their guns.

It is?

I think many of us agree that climate changes and probably acts like a cycle and responds to many influences such as volcanos, sea change, ocean currents.

We do not believe in the "progressive" mindset of "man is changing the climate and we'll all be dead by 2000/2012/2020/2050". If it was that important we'd have a handle on third world pollution within two years.
