Yikes.

Tell her what you need her to do and set a timeline to meet the expectations. If she can’t do it, you are supposed to fire her.

Maybe some noise canceling headphones?

That would be nice

Are you not allowed to wear AirPods while working? Can you physically move your work station farther away from her?

How about being a fricking “grown up” and approaching her respectfully?

Be a fricking adult and handle it... it doesn’t even need to be anywhere NEAR a thing if you know how to talk to people.

fricking shite... are you 14 years old and uncomfortable with speaking to people without creating drama?

Fake fricks can't help but bottle that shite up until it explodes.

And this world is packed with fake fricks.

If you are her direct supervisor, then address it. If you are not, then become tolerant or find another job where you dont have to talk to girls. Good lord.

Another thing that pisses me off. Person A may ask person B a direct question but EVERY TIME she jumps into the conversation
my boss does this( he’s also a narcissist) but we just keep talking ignoring him

She will #MeToo you if you tell her something.

Be forewarned you let it go on too long. Should have said something from the beginning.

Sounds like you have an employee who is productive but lacks couth & situational awareness. The "war against the virus" stuff made me cringe just reading it but she probably believes it. Meaning that she wants to do something positive, be it because of work ethic or she wants more adulation.

I'd sit her to the side & just tell her that you see & appreciate her positives. Build her up a little bit. Then tactfully tell her about her loud mouth & how it hinders production & that you believe it may prevent her from getting to the next level based off of perception. Yeah, it's mgmt BS, but hard workers are tough to find these days.

Yeah I think we are going to need pics to address the tolerance level for this employee.

Her tone might be totally forgiveable based on those pics. In other words, we need...the rrrrrrest of the story!

Exactly. People cant read minds. Sometimes all you have to do is say something. I mean hell I would rather an annoying co-worker than a lazy incompetent one that I'm always having to cover for or alter my schedule because they dont have their shite together.

THIS! Don’t hold back until you blow your top. Ask her for a meeting and discuss it with her nicely.

shite in this field you better be thankful you’ve got a tech at all. Much less one that shows up and isn’t hated by customers.

So, a good employee who’s personality grated on your nerves.

Deal with it, Nancy.
