You’re right, but war with Iran will be no picnic. Not even with US involvement and definitely not if it’s just Israel.
Iran shares a religion with the Middle East, but they shouldn’t be lumped in with the Arab countries everybody’s been whipping on for years. They’re much more capable than most think. And well, Arabs are Arabs. The non-Arab Islamic countries (Turks, A-Stan, Iran) are a tougher cut of meat.

This was to disrupt the normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel. If that had happened Iran would have been way on the back foot in the ME. (Iran is me/Asian but their politics are ME.)

Unless Iran sends troops to Gaza there will be no war with Iran. Israel has a very good military but they cannot send troops to attack anyone outside of maybe Gaza area. They can for sure defend against Iran, but that’s it. Don’t even think they could do much in Syria if they wanted. They (Israel) are built almost solely for defense.

You don't do what Hamas just did and expect to be able to claim some moral high ground for the foreseeable future. You also don't get to do what Hamas just did and expect the other side to go about playing by the rules. Those rules were just dictated by Hamas.
Is that the good, righteous path forward? Probably not, but it is the path Hamas chose, and they aren't my neighbors, so I don't get much say.

What exactly are their targets going to be? The terrorists will just hide behind “civilians” (which also hate the Jews) and play guerillia warfare.

Israel has genuine equal protection under its laws for all races, religions and creeds. Its Supreme Court currently has Muslims, Christians and Jews. Every citizen of Israel can own property, access credit, appear in court, and travel the country freely.

Hmmmm, the fact that they almost entered Damascus, Cairo, and the capital of Lebanon ring a bell? They could probably go anywhere in the Middle East if they chose to.
