Hamas don't seem to be as down with martyrdom as ISIS and AQ. If there have been any suicide bombings I haven't heard about them and the IDF have captured a good number alive. Not drawing any conclusions, just something I've noticed.

They’ve never had a problem with suicide bombings in the past.

A lot of their Senior Leadership are definitely not a fan of Martyrdom. It's why they all hide in Qatar living the high life while the rest of their people suffer in squalor and now are having bombs dropped on their domes.

Am I the only Cajun watching these feeds thinking about all the birds the Gaza people could be eating to keep them going a long time?

Plenty of Hamas suicide bombings during the intifada.

But yeah it’s presumably more difficult to attract that level of “martyr” for struggles where adherence to religion is just one of the driving factors for violence.

I thought the same thing to! I told myself, after the supplies run out, they may have to send a couple of dead eye kids out to start harvesting pigeons.

IIRC the dude and/or his business was getting destroyed on social media, maybe hate phone calls too. Before word got out that it was inadvertent.

Probably a dumb question, is it a requirement to notify the UN or just part of the game?

Why not? They have the planes and pilots and we are landing cargo planes with replenishment bombs and missles by the hundreds

You completely missed my point. You can't have over a million people relocate with the current level of bombing.

Wasn't suggesting they're running out of munitions.

Seriously. The number of used cars shipping overseas would shock many people. The diesel VWs Volvos could bring in more than some new cars. Can’t find any around anymore

Looks as though the 1st Phase of the Israeli Ground Operation in Gaza is going to begin sometime soon after Midnight on Friday.

No Israel does it so civilians can leave the area before they bomb. Its unusual as most countries don't do this type of notice.
