It is hard not to get semi defensive when people (not you, but other people in this thread) post shite like:
i can see how that does. It would make me defensive also. im not in any position to judge.. just stating my beliefs.
and for the poster that asked about how do i know my belief is right and hindu or whatever isnt.. one word FAITH

Just think how immersed you are in Chistianity, how much passion and belief you have sense you were born and raised and culturally apart of it here in America. That is the exact same way they are brought up with Hindu. All of a sudden they have to figure out Christianity or they are eternally damned? Just seems very convenient and lucky that that happens to be the religion you were born into

you seem like a good dude. we just have differing views on salvation criteria. you're firm in your beliefs, and I do respect that.

I lived through things that leave zero doubt there is a supernatural realm surrounding us.
I've also seen the power of God firsthand.
Guess it makes my decision to follow God real easy.
Don't be jealous though, I've been through hell on earth in my short life.

I found it amazing the USA Today reports that there are over 40 journalists missing in Syria/Iraq and it isn't being given any more coverage than this.

Don't argue. Let them take their excuses and morally outraged to the throne. They'll find their answers there.

I feel like I can relate to them so much. I was just like them for most of my life.
God gave me all my answers in due time, thankfully, however those lessons were not fun to learn.

I respect the other posters defending their faith in this thread. I do not respect you.
That is all.

Why do you not respect me? LOL because you don't like what I say. It's just plain jane scripture.

The condescending nature of your posts regarding religion and the disrespect you showed to James Foley.

Truth isn't condescending. It's the same tired argument every person who does not believe in the Lord makes. Why does he punish these people, why are these people not exempt. The entire time, they are left with no excuses but to make excuses for others.
It's the same thing every time. End the end, you don't want to believe, fine. Just say you don't believe. Just don't keep trying to rationalize why choose not to believe to make sense.
