If you've ever heard this at a church, RUN!
you are saved by faith and faith alone.
Our righteousness is but filthy rags to him.
The only way to salvation is faith in Christ and what he did at Calvary.
I fear Jehovah much more than a rusty machete.
No offense, but your views are frightening

I guess for me is it comes down to there would be no better time to proclaim your faith than being faced with death over it.
I'd say there is no bigger test to your faith than this.

Well I wiggle out because I chose not to believe a book written by men is the end all be all. And I dont think the kid born in Africa who never heard of God before but lived a good life is eternally damned but little shite stain Johnny born in Beverly Hills is ok because he was raised and told to beleive. Doesnt make a lick of sense to me.
And that's your right. God did not create us as robots to just fall down and worship Him blindly. He gave each of us free will to either accept Him or reject Him. Now that does not mean there will not be any consequences to our decision there.

Beware the rest of the Bible. I always find it interesting how people try to wiggle out of scripture. If you don't want to believe it, that's your choice. But the entire Bible is the Word of God.
People love to knit pick the Bible. How about going spend some of that time on the Koran, being it was written about 900 years ago.
No, it's natural though. People will love to attack the truth.

Similar to an earlier post in here, I would think that if you are a believer and were placed in that situation(renounce your faith or die) that God would give you the courage in that moment to hold fast to your faith, the words to proclaim it, and comfort and peace for the moments that followed as you exited this world.
If you just keep your fingers crossed while you are saying you don't believe in him you are all good, I am pretty sure it's in the bible.

Go pick apart the Koran. See how tolerant those folks are.
We're pretty amiable

So God created a couple billion people just for the sake of destruction? Makes no sense. The Bible is subject to interpretation these days.

What makes you worthy. What makes you innocent. For that part, what makes anybody innocent and not worthy of judgement? Why should you get a pass? Because "you're good?".
The Lord forgives if you ask for forgiveness and believe in Christ. That's it. It's that simple. Just a simple prayer and declaration of faith.
Yet people fight the simplest of solutions.

Well, the Holy Spirit calls to every man to believe. Some fight against it. Some believe.
Being that you were just presented this truth and choice, you no longer have an argument in that day. For you have been presented the truth and willingly chose not to believe.

What about the truly genuine, righteous man in China who has barely heard of Jesus Christ and has never picked up a Bible? What's his fate? The problem is that you play God when you beat your chest and say "Only Christians are worthy of heaven."

I was also wondering why they stopped the tape right as the guy started cutting his throat... they usually show the entire process.
Which is why I believe it's fake. There is a lot in the video that tells me it's fake.

And yet billions of people believe something different, but they are all wrong and will suffer eternal damnation. You've got it all figured out.
I think it is perfectly normal to question this, but I am not God so I don't have any answers
As a Christian I do struggle with the idea that there are, for example, devoted Muslims or Jews that live good and peaceful lives and contribute a lot of good to society, only to die and spend eternity in hell. It's a difficult concept to grasp, but since I am not God I don't have any answers. Maybe these types of people get different treatment. I don't know.

It's very rare nowadays that people have never been exposed to Christianity in some form. People love to paint with such broad strokes to seek a way out.
I'm not the judge but it's getting extremely hard nowadays to not be exposed.

Sure it can. It can also be seen as God being selfish. He would rather you die than say without meaning that you don't believe in him.
see, here is the thing. Most people see dying as a bad thing. When you say God would rather see you die than keep on living.. Mayb God would rather take you out of this pathetic world we live in and bring you with him to heaven to live eternally.
