I want to see them step foot in Texas. The local Texans would wreck their shite without any military support

That would be epic...the cartels and isis face off for beheading world champions

Because someone will question my previous statement.
A recent United Nations report estimated nearly 9,000 civilians have been killed and 17,386 wounded in Iraq in 2014, more than half since ISIL fighters seized large parts on northern Iraq in June. It is likely that the group is responsible another several thousand deaths in Syria. To be sure, these numbers are staggering. But in 2013 drug cartels murdered more than 16,000 people in Mexico alone, and another 60,000 from 2006 to 2012 — a rate of more than one killing every half hour for the last seven years. What is worse, these are estimates from the Mexican government, which is known to deflate the actual death toll by about 50 percent.

and can we just drop a nuke at that location?
That may would be very bad for us. Chernobylish bad.
Plus Mexico is only Shitty because of the acceptable crime. It's actually very beautiful nature-wise.
Bomb all of the middle east....OR, just take all the land from the Muslims and give it to the Jews.
I think that would be worse to them than burning it all.

I don't think we'd see a large-scale attempted invasion like has been seen in northern Iraq. Rather I'd bet they will would try to infiltrate small bands to carry out suicide attacks. And as wide open as the southern border is, they will probably have little trouble in getting they folks across the border.

how the hell would you know. find areas where level of violence has decreased.

It was a joke, so lighten up a little. It wouldn't surprise me at all.

I don't think they're going to attack an army base, even though they did have 'plans', if anything they'll attack our infrastructure.

how could they differentiate between them and the mexican gangs down there? they both behead about the same number of people.
They look different? Unless there is an hispanic ISIS following
Also, the Cartels are about business. They are in the business of making money and beheading those that get in the way. ISIS just wants to kill everyone and everything because of some bullshite warped view of Islam. That's much scarier IMO.
ETA:
And the cartels would absolutely obliterate ISIS on Mexican soil, but holy shite I would love to see this hypothetical play itself out

Sad thing is that it isn't even close. At the height of the Iraq war, the number of deaths was a mere fraction of the Cartel murders in Mexico. I have no clue why the level of violence there is so under reported in the U.S.
Because they aren't trying to kill whitey.
They are killing each other and Mexicans who stand in their way.

If ISIS wasn't publicly declaring the West and America their enemy and releasing videos of them beheading Americans, we wouldn't care that much.
If they were just killing other Muslims in their region it would get 1/10000th the news coverage.
Look at Syria pre-ISIS. There was genocide and war crimes being committed against innocent civilians and the world barely noticed.

1. Cartel murders don't make Bush look bad.
2. They killed any and all journalists who dared to cover the murders.
