ISIS is essentially a cartel. The whole Islam angle is bullshite just to rally Islamic people behind it. Same thing with any of those terrorist groups.

I could see ISIS going into shared business with some of the cartels In an effort to make money.

Right, but they publicly execute westerners on youtube and publicly declare the West as the enemy.

If they didn't do these things, we'd barely see them on the news, just like the cartels.

Allah is not the driving force. Money, power, and greed is. Same thing as a drug cartel. This of course, is my humble opinion. But I've never believed any of this was actually about religion vs religion. That part is the whole bait and switch package to lure fellow middle easterners in.

This actually could be good news. If liberals won't let us fix the borders, let a couple terrorist attacks from ISIS change their minds.

We're far more likely to be false flagged than we are to actually be attacked by ISIS

Meh, About 13,000 Americans are murdered each year by other Americans, so just people killing people.

I hear ISIS is buckets of fun.

Surprised the drug cartels are allowing them anywhere near the border.

Sad thing is that it isn't even close. At the height of the Iraq war, the number of deaths was a mere fraction of the Cartel murders in Mexico. I have no clue why the level of violence there is so under reported in the U.S.

Probably because its 90% drug cartel folks killing other drug cartel folks.

There's absolutely 0% chance the cartels would knowingly let ISIS set up camps & cross from Mexico.

The cartels need the weak border to continue to send their drugs to the US.

If a terrorist attack is carried out by folks that had crossed from the Mexican border, the cartels entire operation would be at risk of having the iron gate closed on it.

I said this in a similar thread. No way the cartels would tolerate ISIS on their turf. An increased level of security on the border is directly contrary to their interests. Not to mention possible damage to the US economy in the event of a 9/11 type attack. We're their customers.
