"Water - covered or saturated with water or another liquid."

So your theory is that water is not covered or saturated in water?

I challenge someone to prove water is wet. My theory is water does not get water wet. It only dampens what it touches therefore making the object wet.

At STP...water displays strong tetrahedral hydrogen bonding which would suggest that water is, indeed, wet. Water actually clusters...so...it is wet.
