Does anyone remember the 1986 movie "Soul Man" where a white college kid dresses up in blackface to get an African American targeted scholarship and then falls in love with a black girl who would have gotten the same scholarship?

I guess its time to burn that film too.

By the way, it is still available on Amazon Prime and YouTube Movies.

Seems like we've officially run out of "what if they ban this" scenarios.

I always bring that up.

White dude goes black face to get into college based on affirmative action.

Funny, I was thinking about that movie yesterday as one that could get the ban hammer! This should all be a joke, but weak people are caving in to anything nowadays...

Soul Man won't be banned. It fits the narrative about quotas

I'm okay with banning it and a few hundred other shitty movies. Just put me in charge of the list.

No. Because C. Thomas Howell's character "got his mind right" at the end of the movie.

Not sure, but Lord of the Rings probably will be.
