That's a vietnamese community of hard working people. If you go on Google street view you can see his truck that was stolen.

Also, how many times was that driveway added onto?

Customer of mine got carjacked at the Fly last Monday picking her daughter up from soccer.

carjacked or she left her car running and someone stole it?

I've been out there picking up my kids from soccer many times....there is tons of people around. To get carjacked is one thing but leaving your car running and walking over to the field to get your kid is something everyone out there does often....thats def a crime of opportunity

Another crime the NOPD put up yesterday

This guy after stealing the woman's purse almost loses his pants in the getaway as his cohorts drive off scared of what the woman will do to them if she catches them.

Like she loaded the car, then was talking to another parent. Somebody ran up jumped in the car and took off.
She had already started the car.

The latter. I guess it's not technically a jacking but that's how it was described to me.

I guess a true jacking would be gun to your head and being told to get out.

This was more theft. But she was right by the car. Still in all was shocking for me to hear.

very shocking indeed....but im pretty sure there's a big difference when it comes down to charges between car jacking and auto left

If they catch these guys, what is your realistic expectation of what they will be charged with and, if convicted, what their sentences would be?

The problem, in my opinion, is that they will get off light, or with nothing at all, which further emboldens them.

That should be a mandatory life sentence. People that what do something like that cannot be allowed to live, if you want to have a functioning society.
