Is there some new law that just started today?
I have received New Updated Privacy Policy/User Agreement emails from like 30 different sites today that I have been a part of
Amazon
Ebay
Uber
Houz
MailChimp
Pandora
GoDaddy
Fanatics
Apple
facebook
Stubhub
etc
etc
etc
It's like they have all emailed me today with this updated privacy policy BS

Everybody is freaking the frick out after the recent Facebook incident, even though Facebook's tactics were pretty much common knowledge.
The companies are trying to protect themselves before people start digging into their user agreements too.

European Union privacy law called GDPR goes into effect tomorrow. I'm currently updating my company's privacy policy so it's compliant.
