One of the stones had blocked his bile duct, and he was turning yellow, but the tough/crazy SOB didn't do anything until the pain left him no option

This happened to me when I was 28. Walked into the ER with yellowing skin. They admitted me, put me on a ton of meds and then removed my gall bladder as soon as they were able. I had zero problems after it was out.

I had been to a GP in the month before, but since I didn't have all of the typical symptoms of gall stones, she misdiagnosed me and put me on antibiotics for H Pylori instead. I continued to be in pain thinking it was an ulcer until I started turning yellow and went to the ER.

Can be treated with an ERCP endoscopically by a GI doc depending on the situation and severity, but not if they are inside of the gallbladder

The first few months it took awhile for my body to adjust. Psyllium husk (Metamucil without all of the added shite) was a life saver.

This is going to sound crazy, but my wife had gallbladder issues years ago. She found a “gallbladder flush” diet online and followed it. If I recall it included a lot of green apples, maybe olive oil and was insanely restrictive. She basically ate only that diet for like 3 weeks. At the end of the 3 weeks her body passed the gall stones.

She hasn’t had one problem since then. I think it can be dangerous as one can get lodged on the way out. This didn’t happen to her.

gall bladder removal is a super easy procedure, short recovery time. I had mine removed, and 2 days later I was back duck hunting, eating all the things I was told not to eat.

Haven't trusted a fart since then.

I’ve been digging around and found some flush procedures, but there is equally conflicting stories on if it’s real or a fraud.

If your wife could remember what she did, that would be huge! Looking for some first-hand experience other than surgery here.

It’s not me, so I’m not sure of the pain level in terms of severity. I do know this family member had some moderate radiating pain a few months back and since then has not had any, but has had MRIs, and there are stones in the gallbladder.

My wife had her's removed, then came down with pancreatitis.

As did I. I went home the day of the procedure only to come back 4 days later with Pancreatitis. I then stayed in the hospital for 5days. Unreal

I have tried a few different meds and the ony thing that works for me is the powder at bedtime. Its not a fix but it slows it down some

My wife followed a regime of lemon juice and olive oil. She didn’t recall the frequency she took them.

When I asked her her she said “you know if one of the stones get stuck, they can become infected and die”. That said she did this like 15 years ago and hasn’t had an issue since.

Sorry but this is gross... She passed the stones all at once and they looked like chickpeas. It was definitely gallstones and the flush definitely worked.

A gallbladder is like a little pouch. I guess they could reach in the little pouch and feel around for stones and remove them.
