Went to Jingle Jam for 97.9 the beat in 2004

Went to a Plies Concert in 2009

Both were awful.

I love ecstasy. But EDM just sucks.

I went to rap shows when I was young, and even then, I thought they sucked. Three only exception I've seen was when I see The Roots at a small festival in North Carolina. They were great, but also had a full band. That made a huge difference.

Fun fact: the tuba players name in the Roots was Tuba Gooding Jr.

EDM festivals/concerts are for losers

So are country concerts

Only concerts worth going to are rock bands

at least country sounds good live for the most part (bro country is hit or miss but if you are drunk and tailgating with trucks it can be OK)

While bro country is terrible, I enjoy it live. Most big artists have amazingly talented band members and I typically end up paying attention to them more than the lead singer.

Ex: Brad Paisley's drummer, Ben Sesar, is amazing.

No way you could classify hip hop or rap as anything to do with music. It's just noise and bad noise at that!

I find it ironic that most of these people take such great pride in being 'different' from everyone else then they show up to these buku fests and voodoo fests looking EXACTLY like the thousands of other people that are there

Then after the weekend they aren't hippies anymore

Hip hop festivals are just fine. I went to rock the bells one year and it was awesome. The truly good hip hop artists are good live. Now a rap festival would be terrible
