It’s pretty clear if you ask me. People love to make you aware that they went skiing. There is nothing that they want you to know about more than that. Once again clear as frick.

These are true for more commonly found people.
However, if someone climbed Mt. Everest or went to a U.S. service academy (okay, mainly Annapolis and West Point), it will be IMPOSSIBLE for them to not work that into their first conversation with you. Often in the first 3 or 4 sentences they say to you.

Having killed a deer is another one that's up there in "things people want you to know" category. I see so many people post pics of their deer on the facebook. Maybe I'm just jealous because I haven't killed one in years.
