Is there anything more annoying that updating all auto-pay accounts

update your browser data field auto fill to fill in credit card numbers, (you just have to fill in the CCV code)

I had to get a new Amex card # after 10+ years with all of my bills auto-pay. I was expecting to get notices from each when the payment was declined so I didn't contact any of them proactively. I never heard from any of them and Amex handled it all.

I set all mine up through my bank. I don't let anyone take money from my account. Amazon is the only exception
