Are you serious about shampooing every day? I don't shampoo - believe me, your scalp adjusts.

You need to stop - it will take about 10 days but you'll never need to shampoo again. Hot water does the trick.

I know that it is better for you to skip some days, but it is really hard as a female...especially if you need to look presentable at your job. I was doing every other day for a while, but the 2nd day I just looked so .... gross. And I'm not even an oily person.

I could pull off every other day, but not anything more. If your body really does adjust, I'd need to be on some kind of weird vacation from work where I chose to just sit home and do nothing for a month

I spoke to a neurologist about it since she was always bitching about me not sleeping enough. She ended up doing some research on it, and said it could be some genetic mutation that makes people sleep less, and allows them to function perfectly fine on that little amount of sleep. I might take a nap during the day from time to time, but it isn't any longer than 5-10 minutes.

Like I said earlier, no matter what happens, I can't sleep longer than 5 hours a night. I can get completely shitfaced and stay up until 8am, and I'll usually be up around 12.

Answer is truly loving what you are doing.

Think about it. Getting up early for work/school sucks. You're tired and dragging.

Then think about getting up to go duck hunting. Tons of energy.Staying up drinking beer and watching football.

Worry and stress and unhappiness robs you of energy. Its silent but cumulative.

I think it also has to do with your daily regiment. I've been getting up at 4am for years and always have energy till about 9pm. I exercise regularly, but sure ain't a health nut. I drink a lot and don't exactly eat healthy. But I'm used to getting up early and as long as I'm rolling, my energy level is high.
