Surprisingly enough, yes. I mean, not a career job but a pretty good entry-level one for what I want to do.

I never use that shite.

Any time I need an ancient Indian headrest, I just go to the store and buy it like a normal human being.

I've sold a few items (a power cage and a computer desk) on craigslist, for my full asking price, which was low both times.

Bought my Truck July '13 off Craigslist. 2011 F-150 EcoBoost. Best deal I found and it was worth it. Truck runs great!

Got my Honda 450 Rancher from craigslist. Not much trouble with it. People who sold it were hick arse people, but it runs well and I love it

Free dirt and fire wood FTW

Just had to load it myself.

Was able to fill in around my homes foundation and keep my arse warm when needed.

I bought my bike on craigslist for $60. It still works great so that would have to be a positive story.

One of my friends put my number on their as somebody looking to buy a goat. Apparently there is a surprising amount of people on their trying to sell goats. So that would have to be a negative story.

I've bought a lot of music stuff from CL: a guitar, a couple of cases and a pile of pedals. No problems with any of that. I found a good electrician to come wire up my basement with 240V for the new brewery. That worked out too. I don't recall ever having a problem with it.

positive: I got a hybrid bike for 50 bucks on craigslist.

positive: moved to lafayette for better money (and lower cost of living) because i applied to a posting for a head hunting firm that had a lafayette position available.

positive: bought a pier 1 imports table brand new with 4 chairs for 50 bucks since chick was moving in with her man. She had a lot of awesome furniture, but i didnt have room for the rest of it.

I literally just got back with a 55 gallon aquarium, wrought iron stand, and accessories- all for a grand total of $85.00.

Yeah I'd say some good comes from it.
