Is there any chance West Parker is fixed and paved by next week?

It's not looking good. It has been torn up for months with little to no improvement.
If not, East Boyd is going to be a clusterfrick like none ever seen before once class is back in session, especially with that new apartment building having its parking garage exit onto East Boyd.

Who ever allowed this should be shot. That's right up there with pulling the light down on East Boyd and Burbank.
I read last year that the city allowed the builders to put the garage exit on EB because the apartments are so close to campus most of the people there will just walk to class.
Idiots.

I think they are going to finish the loop first.

They are expecting rain every night this week, so any paving, patching, and road repairs will probably get delayed.
Get and use WAZE if you don't already. Everyone in Baton Rouge should use that.

When did that happen?
A couple of years ago when they added the additional lanes on Burbank
The DOTD engineers pulled the light down and forced EB traffic to turn right onto Burbank via a stop sign with a raised curb directing traffic to the right.
What resulted were several dumbass college kids forcing their way into turning left on Burbank causing several wrecks. One was as close to a fatal wreck as I hope to ever see. A chick pulled straight out from EB and was T-Boned by a Dump truck. To this day I don't know how she was not seriously hurt

Threads like this make me glad I only have to deal with houston traffic
