when you have a problem with your phone? Every time I call them I feel like I might as well have called frickin Taco Bell to find out what is wrong.

I’ve had a lot more success with their online chat, at least the Indians on the other end have time to process your statement.

I'll answer your question but first I need to verify your address, phone number, account number, and last 4 digits of your SSN

Calling DMV is more futile.

In my experience, no. I've spent untold hours on the phone with them over various issues during the last few years, and it has been a singularly enraging experience.

there has to be a study that proves that if they frustrate the customer SOOO much, said customer(s) will eventually hang up and either get it fixed at a local store OR just buy another phone.

The frustration must also lead the customer to believe that all phone companies are the same and do little to nothing as far as help is concerned and they end up staying the company that pisses them off.

If that's not the root of the shittiest customer service for one of the largest technological/communication devices of all time, then I have zero clue why they'd hire such shitty service. OH WAIT....cheap laborers in Pakiston.

Go online and use the chat feature, it's much easier.

And they always start by repeating your problem, then saying, “I’m sorry you are experiencing that, but I can definitely help”, but they never can. After more than a combined 1 1/2 on the phone with them yesterday, I still have the same phone issue.
