The Oxygen level is lower but over time your body will make more red blood cells to carry more O2 around.

You see how ugly the skin is on women >40 in Colorado... also in Az with it being so dry

Feel sorry for any guy that lives there with their aging bride.

Sherpas don't have a distance mountain climbing event. The high altitude Kenyans do pretty well in marathons though.

Your body switches to a different blend of hemoglobin at higher altitudes to deal with the decreased oxygen. Thats why it takes like 3 months to fully adapt, life of a red blood cell is about 90 days
