If she doesn't do special things to impress you, to the point you're bitter enough to create a post bitching about it, why are you with her? Forever is a long, long time to be with someone who apparently doesn't do shite for you.

bitter? I just asked a question.

I think you missed the point. She does a lot of special things for me - and I reciprocate. This isn't about me. It's about the day in general.

March 14

Japan, Korea, and China have Black Valentine's Day and White Valentine's Day. The males buy one day. The females buy the other.

Feb. 14th and March 14th.

I don't know about required but my girlfriend buys me stuff all the time. Nearly every time she goes shopping she sees something I'd like and gets it. Mostly small stuff but I appreciate it.

We don't really celebrate Valentines.

I didn't miss the point. If you feel like it satisfies the holiday requirements to send a text saying happy v-day, what are you asking? If there's a day she's obligated to send you a special text?

This is a trite topic. I'm not a big holiday person, but this is discussed ad nauseam every year.

Tell myself what? I'm usually 6 months-1yr behind her on our pay being equal. And we're the same age.

Nah, I met her at outside a crackhouse in Knoxville. She moonlights as a crack whore.

I don't have a problem with wives getting the perks of Valentine's day.

But I have a huge problem with wives who have taken over Mother's day.

Wait, your girl doesn't do anything for you on Valentine's Day? lmao

It's always been a reciprocal holiday in my relationships

Is this your wife? If so, I am shocked. My ex forgot what a BJ was after we got married.

Aren't you the guy who said he was afraid of "getting in trouble" with his wife if he didn't buy the right thing?
