And Charlie just bought Dodie's back from those financial guys that took it from him. So I can start going back there now.

I heard about it a few months ago. Not sure if it's a done deal yet but let's hope so.

This is an opportunity to ask if this list, that's always linked at the bottom of the TigerDroppings home page is current?

Thanks. I apologize for the creepiness of the post. I am not trying to identify anyone and didn't request contact info. I just know that this site has many SEC football fans, and I wanted to know a good place to potentially meet them as a new person in the area.

Alabama football isn't even the majority of the college football games that I watch in a season. Many intriguing matchups not involving my team occur in this conference and between the SEC and other conferences.

I typically prefer to watch at home with a limited crowd. A few buddies and some beer. Much more relaxed and cheaper like that and I enjoy it much better.

ETA: I’d go to Katy Trail Ice House for games I’m not necessarily invested in.

I would prefer to watch it with buddies or family too, but that is not currently an option since my family in the metro that I've met doesn't care for SEC football or college football in general and I don't have a buddy yet.

Edit: Thanks. The Plano location is a convenient place, and I'm not invested in either of the big games this weekend.

I know it might be a little drive from DFW but there’s a pretty nice intimate venue to watch the game in Austin if you’re really interested.

Let me know if you need the address.

I'd start at La Bare. Then move on to the Male Box in Oaklawn.

The official DFW alumni watch locations are dibs on victory in Dallas and II brothers in Plano.

They switched from Dodie's to dibs for whatever reason this year. Looks like a stuffy victory park/uptown place so I probably will stick to Dodie's.

II brothers is a nice spot. The brothers are nice guys.
